Summer on the North Fork has a sound to it.
It starts with the first warm Friday of the season, when the chairs come out, the bar opens up, and somebody picks up a guitar. At North Fork Resort in Greenport, that sound has been playing since April, and the best of the 2026 season is still ahead.
A Season That Started Strong
The 2026 events calendar got underway with Points East, an acoustic trio with genuine North Fork roots, playing to an early-season crowd still shaking off the winter. That was followed by the NoFo Band in May, one of the most active live acts on the East End, known for high-energy performances that have become a fixture at venues from Greenport Harbor Brewing to Twin Fork Beer Co. Then last Friday, Rick Rempe closed out May with the kind of classic rock and country set that fits a warm North Fork evening like it was made for it.
Three events in, the tone is set. This is not background music. It is part of what an evening at North Fork Resort feels like.
What Is Still Ahead
The calendar for the rest of the season gives you plenty of reasons to plan ahead.
June 5: Vocals by Lauren
The first weekend of June brings an intimate evening of live vocals to the resort. A perfect companion to a long Saturday on the Sound, a visit to a nearby winery, and dinner at Miss May’s Kitchen and Bar.
June 19: Route 48
Named for the road that runs the length of the North Fork, Route 48 brings classic rock, R&B, and blues to the resort on a June evening when the days are at their longest and the North Fork is at its most alive. If you have been thinking about a summer weekend at the resort, this is a night worth planning around.
July 17: Sahara 2.0
The summer headliner. Sahara 2.0 is a full ensemble with male and female vocalists covering multiple decades of hits. The kind of act that turns a Friday night at the resort into something people talk about on the drive home.
More to Come
The 2026 season is still early. Additional events will be added to the calendar as the summer builds. The best way to stay current is to check the Events page at nfresort.com or follow the resort on social media, where upcoming events are announced as they are confirmed.
The Full Picture
Live music at North Fork Resort is one piece of something larger. On event nights, Miss May’s Kitchen and Bar is open, the pool deck is lit up, and the community of guests and owners that makes this place what it is comes together in a way that is hard to plan for but easy to remember.
Whether you are here for a weekend stay, a return visit, or you are beginning to think about what it would mean to have your own place on the North Fork, an evening with live music is a good place to start.
